2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site (contact, project scoping, or guide requests), we collect what you enter — typically your name, work email, company, website URL, how you track customers today, and anything you write about your project.

Information collected automatically. When you visit, we and our service providers collect your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device and browser information, pages viewed and referring URLs, campaign parameters (such as UTM tags), Google click identifiers (gclid), and first-party visitor and session identifiers we use to understand which marketing brought you here.

3. How we use information

We use this information to respond to your inquiry and scope potential work, to keep our internal customer records, to measure which advertising and content actually produces inquiries, and to run, secure, and improve this site.

4. Where your information goes

Google. We use Google Ads conversion measurement (the Google tag, gtag.js). When you submit a form, we send Google conversion signals that may include the Google click identifier from your visit, so Google can attribute the inquiry to an ad. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. We do not load the Google tag for visitors whose location cannot be resolved, or for visitors in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.

Our internal CRM. Details you submit through our forms — along with the attribution context above — are stored in Big Timber's own customer relationship management system so our team can follow up.

Service providers. We use vendors that host this website and its database and that deliver our email notifications. They process data on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses first-party identifiers (and the Google tag may set cookies) to recognize repeat visits and attribute inquiries to marketing sources. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.

6. Data retention

We keep inquiry and attribution records for as long as we have a business need — typically the life of a customer relationship plus a reasonable period afterward — then delete or de-identify them.

7. Your choices and rights

Email hello@bigtimber.ai to ask what information we hold about you, or to request correction or deletion. We honor reasonable requests regardless of where you live. For California residents, this page serves as our CalOPPA disclosure; note that this site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

8. Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Changes to this policy
